Welcome! My name is Dexter. I'm a software engineer passionate about building large-scale, reliable applications. My expertise lies in backend development, where I’ve designed, developed, and optimized solutions ranging from data pipelines to REST APIs, always focusing on efficiency, clarity, and scalability.

Programming isn’t just my job — it’s what I love. I thrive on technical challenges, experimenting with system architectures, and continuously learning new technologies. My side projects include machine learning apps and a football analytics database. I also enjoy sharing insights on coding, system design, and the state of the tech industry.

Beyond the world of software, I'm a passionate sports fan, with a special love for football — whether watching matches, analysing data, or playing casually. Travel is also another great joy of mine, particularly visiting Japan, though I appreciate exploring diverse cultures and places around the world. While I'm not a particularly skilled gamer myself, I thoroughly enjoy gaming and love watching eSports competition. Music also plays a big role in my life, and I enjoy everything from Cantonese and Mandopop to J-Pop and K-Pop.
